The Literacy Shed
This site, created by a primary school teacher, is a collection of visual resources to engage elementary students in a discussion of visual literacy. You will find videos and animations on a variety of topics, along with discussion guides.
Five Card Flickr - activity
"You are dealt five random photos for each draw, and your task is to select one each time to add to your building set of images, that taken together as a final set tell a story in pictures. When you are done, you can add a title and explanation, and save the story." (site)
