The 2Learn.ca Education Society Circle Program

The mission of the 2Learn.ca Education Society is to initiate, advocate and share with
educators technology-enriched teaching, learning and leadership options of tomorrow,
empowered by unique alliances with educational and community partners.

2Learn.ca Education Society: Partnerships
The 2Learn.ca Education Society values partnerships which:
  1. are based on sound educational principles.
  2. recognize and respect the ethics and core values of the 2Learn.ca Education Society.
  3. recognize and respect the ethics and core values of the members of the Society (Alberta Teachers Association; College of Alberta School Superintendents; Faculty of Education, University of Alberta)
  4. meet an identified educational purpose.
  5. are subject to regular, systematic evaluation.
  6. recognize that professional educators are in the best position to make decisions concerning school resources, program methodologies and other pedagogical issues.
  7. ensure that teacher and student involvement in projects arising from the partnership are voluntary.
  8. shall not place restrictions on academic freedom of the school
  9. shall not influence curriculum or educational policy as a result of participation in educational activities.
  10. must not promote exclusive or restrictive arrangements between schools and participating corporate partners.
  11. will not exploit teachers’ intellectual property.
2Learn.ca responds to the expressed need of educators for ready access to high quality, self-help technology training.  Links here, from the 2Learn.ca website to selected commercial vendors, result from intensive review of content and quality – however, participation is solely at the discretion of the user - based on 2Learn.ca's policy on Corporate Partnerships.

At this time, the 2Learn.ca Education Society is pleased to introduce “Studio eWorks”, a trusted name in computer and software training, with over 12 years of experience in customer satisfaction. To learn more about Studio eWorks resources click on the logo above.
 
Studio eWorks provides comprehensive CD-ROM training that is a designed to take users from the basic techniques through the most advanced features of common software packages, while also providing timesaving tips and tricks . All training CD-ROMs are cross-platform, which means that you can view them on both Windows and Macintosh computers, including the new Intel Macs.

Over time this aspect of 2Learn.ca’s services will be broadened to include additional corporate liaisons in keeping with our Corporate Partnership Policy.
