Advancing Accessibility Through Technology

Our second annual Institute was the next stage in 2Learn.ca's efforts to support the advancement of accessibility through the effective use of a wide variety of technologies in the classroom. This 2Learn.ca institute helped attendees build capacity and strategies in using assistive technologies to create accessible classrooms.The Institute included:

presentations by international keynotes and invited guest speakers
hands-on labs and small group sessions
and standard solution demonstrations

Demonstrations of assistive technologies, innovative use of instructional technologies and vendor displays set the context. This intensive 2 day experience was a unique opportunity to take the next steps in building an effective school or district team to support all learners through the integration of AT and IT.
