The Ambassador Project wins an Alberta ASCD award!

On June 7, 2007, the Edmonton Regional of the Alberta ASCD [Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development] recognized participants in the Ambassador Project with an
INNOVATIVE PRACTICES AWARD.

The Ambassador Project ran for the 2006-2007 school year and is now concluded. However this website will remain, as a resource for Gr. 3 Social Studies teachers and as a model for those interested in developing similar projects.

To learn more about the project, read the Ambassador Backgrounder.
For more detailed information about the project, you can email either Matthew Kierstead of Parkland School Division or Catherine Macklam of the 2Learn.ca Education Society.
