Welcome to Cyberbridges

This year, the VCRLN is providing a wide variety of VC opportunities for Alberta teachers. We have organized many presentations from people and groups around the world and collaborative activities for teachers. These possibilities are listed below and on the side panel.

 

• 

  Cyberbridges

  Cyberbridges, professional development opportunities offered via VC, will be a key area of focus for the VCRLN this year! Cyberbridges are day-long Professional Development opportunities on a wide range of themes/topics by a variety of presenters. Participants will sign-up in advance for the topics/session they are interested in exploring with the presenter.

  VC Cafes

  The VCRLN provincial team of Regional Leads will be hosting weekly VC Cafe sessions. Starting in September, and continuing every Wednesday after that, the host RL's will make themselves available for discussions in a virtual meeting room to those choosing to participate. This informal, but very valuable, PD opportunity, for those with skills ranging from brand new to VC through those with a vast amount of experience, will offer unique discussions each week determined by the participants and their areas of interest for that day! Our RL host names and brief bio information will be posted on the 2Learn2Gether Events calendar at the beginning of each month. Participants are encouraged to bring a coffee and a question or suggestion to share with the group when joining our VC Cafe! Look for additional Cyberbridges being offered throughout the year on the VCRLN listserv as well as on the 2Learn2Gether.ca Events calendar.
