Project Background and Participants

Project Goals:
  1. Both teachers and students will learn about and practice the associated skills identified in the 7 phases of the Inquiry Model presented in Focus on Inquiry: A Teacher's Guide to Implementing Inquiry-based Learning.

  2. Students will explore culture and communities both near and far to examine shared values and their own sense of belonging, beliefs, traditions and languages.

  3. Participants will add to the body of research concerning the use of video conferencing as a support for the development of professional learning communities.
